Password recovery without a proxy form

People write to publishers as if we could reset a betting account. We cannot. Helios Login Notes has one inbox — [email protected] — and it is for editorial and privacy mail, not for OTPs, ID scans, or “please change my password”.

Use the operator’s own recovery

On the official Sign In chrome at sunbet.co.za, the operator exposes forgot-username and forgot-password paths. Those flows send instructions to the email or SMS channel you already registered with Sunbet. They do not route through this domain.

I do not paste a recovery code into a page that is not the operator. I do not forward the email to a “helper”. I do not use a Google Doc that claims to be a reset ticket.

Lockouts

Operator copy has warned that repeated failures can lock a session. That is a security control. Creating a second account to dodge it usually creates a FICA mess. Wait, recover, then sign in on the official host.

If recovery mail never arrives, the next stop is Sunbet’s own support channels listed on their site — not a freelancer in a comments thread, and not this folio.

If you spotted a lookalike that impersonates this publisher, you may email [email protected] with the URL only. Do not include passwords. Do not attach screenshots that show a full account number plus a live balance if you can crop.
